I’m a freelance English to German translator, writer and editor providing companies with clear, consistent and engaging content. My focus lies on technology and culture. Working on a range of projects in various other industries allows me to combine strong language and research skills with a passion for continuous learning.

During my studies of German, French and Comparative Literature, I worked as a research assistant at several universities, including the German department at Washington University in St. Louis where I helped faculty prepare manuscripts, formulate bibliographies and conduct research on a wide variety of topics.

I have contributed articles for renowned academic platforms such as hsozkult.de and iaslonline.de and was a conference speaker at University of California, Berkeley, and Washington University in St. Louis.

I’ve also worked in the cultural sector, organizing events and workshops for various audiences. As a culture management trainee at Literarisches Zentrum Göttingen, Germany, I helped market the institution’s events, manage resources and plan lectures and roundtables with leading German and international writers and critics.

Before starting my own business, I was working as an English to German translator at VICE Media as well as a merchandiser at Wayfair’s online flash sale and home decor site Joss & Main, translating daily events for German audiences and performing quality assurance processes in accordance with the brand’s guidelines.

Leveraging my experience in research, publishing and communication, I’m dedicated to developing high-quality content that reflects the values of brands and contributes to a great user experience.

Embracing innovations and new developments in writing, translation and content marketing, I love discussing current trends and ideas. Feel free to get in touch through LinkedIn, Xing, or by sending me a message directly via the contact form.
